Originally from Sweden, Morgan brings a unique style to his preaching with his natural story-telling ability that captivates his audiences. Ever since God grabbed hold of Morgan in the mid 70s, he has been proclaiming the gospel together with his wife Helene. They have spent time in ministry all across the globe, including Scandinavia, where Morgan also pastored several churches. The family answered God’s call to move to America in the early 90s and spent years traveling full-time sharing the gospel through preaching and music. A man of many talents, Morgan is also a builder by trade and often incorporates parables from his life that communicate a genuine and intimate message.
Helene is very passionate about sharing her testimony to touch someone’s life through the love of Jesus Christ. She loves to read and since she got saved in the mid 70’s, she has filled herself with the Word of God, as well as lots of books to further her knowledge and build her faith. With incredible talent in home making, cooking and baking, she uses that gift to have people over and minister on a one on one basis, which she loves. Not only does she sing with the rest of the family, but she also speaks with great passion. Native of Sweden, she has a lot to give, not only culturally when it comes to home and family, but also spiritually as she brings an international understanding on faith, unity and the foundations of the Gospel.
Morgan & Helene have a strong testimony and this year celebrate 37 years of marriage and 34 years of ministry. Their travels have brought them preaching and singing all over the world. More than anything they long to see people saved, healed and delivered. This powerful duo brings a new touch to familiar hymns and songs with their simple, but unique sound. Their story is that of a deep love for family with exciting experiences as married, parents and full-time evangelists.
1976 marked the year of change for the young couple, Morgan and Helene. They got saved after simply bowing their knees at home in their kitchen and shortly after that God opened up doors to start ministering through song and word. They recorded their first album in 1977 and started traveling full-time all over Sweden and Norway. After 10 years of traveling full-time, they decided to take over an inn on a beautiful island off the east coast of Sweden. They ran it as that until God called them to convert it into a refugee camp. For the next 4 years they housed several hundred refugees from all over the world. They had as many as 6 nationalities on campus at the same time, and they were the only refugee camp in Sweden allowed to hold services on site. Morgan and Helene were also a part of a team that translated the first Bible into the Albanian language.
In 1991, Morgan and Helene moved with their four children to the United States to pursue a call that had been on their hearts for many years. In 1999 that call became a reality when the family started touring across the USA, ministering in churches and at different events – including opening for Carman and singing with the Gaithers – using their musical gifts and speaking the powerful word of God into people’s life wherever they went. The family traveled for over 5 years through 40 states, and recorded 3 family albums, plus a live worship CD with mostly original songs. The experience of traveling as a Swedish family in America brought them very close together and forever changed the dymanic of their friendships with each other. Even though today, Morgan and Helene and their children Jeanette, Samuel, David and Jonathan are all doing full-time ministry individually, they remain close as a family and look forward to every time they are able to minister together.
Morgan and Helene currently reside in Minnesota, where when they're home, they enjoy the company of their three grandchildren, Christian, Anton and Elias.
