Daughter of traveling evangelists, Jeanette Thulin was born and raised in Sweden and has ministered through music for many years. A talented songwriter, Jeanette started writing at the age of 12. Her three younger brothers quickly became the objects of her trying out harmonies and arrangements. Since that time, she has worked with many ensembles, choirs and worship teams both in Sweden and in the US. To date she has written over 250 songs, of which many have been recorded and are being used by different artists, churches and choirs around the world. While living in Sweden, Jeanette attended the Gothenburg University School of Music for 2 years with an emphasis in Vocal Performance and Song Writing. In 2005, she finished her Music degree at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN where she was a first soprano vocal major. While attending the university she was an active member of the NCU Chorale and Worship Live Worship Band and toured with the groups across the United States as well as England, Italy and Sweden. |

I absolutely love playing and singing at weddings! Funerals too, even though that can be a little harder. Music is such a big part of ceremonies like these. The key is to select music that best fits the occasion, the location and, most importantly, the love and desire of the parties involved. Any song selection is appropriate if it means something special to them. |

I still remember how it feels not being able to write down my own compositions. I've been writing music since I was 12, but didn't learn how to transcribe until my early 20's. |

If you are looking to take your worship department to the next level, and maybe get some interesting different point of views, invite Jeanette to share with your team. She'll share her testimony, experience and passion in a relaxed setting, and your singers and band will get hands on practice on how to make worship a better experience for you, your team and your congregation. She'll inspire you to stay dependant on God and allow the Holy Spirit to move in your heart, in your music and in the people you influence. |
